Mobile Concepts Ltd. was incorporated on August 1, 2008. It is a brand for mobile phone chargers. We offer not just phone chargers, but a brand that is known with innovation, consistency, panache; adopting modern and world-class technology that fits the users' fashion and convenience.
About the role
New Age is a Nigerian mobile accessories brand: power banks, chargers, cables, earbuds, smart watches and car jump starters. We are looking for an in-house designer who can turn product facts into scroll-stopping static and motion content, fast, for social media, ads, dealers, stores and print.
Key responsibilities
- Social and ads. Design social media content: carousels, product statics, stories and ads in 1:1, 4:5 and 9:16.
- Motion and video. Create motion content: animated ads, product animations, kinetic text, logo stings, and short-form video edits for TikTok, Reels and WhatsApp Status.
- Product imagery. Retouch product photos, cut out products, and build clean product and lifestyle composites.
- Print and retail. Design print and retail materials: flyers, posters, banners, shelf talkers, store branding and dealer materials, with print-ready files.
- Brand system. Build and keep brand templates so every post, carousel and video looks consistent.
- Collaboration. Work with the Marketing, Sales and Product teams and external studios; take a brief and deliver to deadline.
- AI tools. Use AI image and video tools to speed up work, while keeping products accurate and on brand.
Requirements
- 3+ years as a graphic designer, with real motion design or video editing experience.
- A portfolio showing social media, ad and motion work. Consumer products or retail work is a plus.
- Strong in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro (or CapCut). Canva and Figma are a plus.
- Good eye for layout, typography and colour; can follow brand guidelines.
- Can handle several projects at once and turn around daily content quickly.
- Understands the Nigerian market and what works on Nigerian social media.
Nice to have
- 3D product rendering (Blender or Cinema 4D).
- Product photography and basic lighting.
- Experience with AI tools such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney or Nano Banana.
What success looks like in the first 90 days
- A full set of brand templates for social posts, carousels, ads and videos is in place.
- Weekly content is delivered on time, with fewer jobs sent to external studios.
- Every new product launch has its carousel, statics and a short motion video ready on launch day.
